As a candidate for the Windsor Gardens (WG) Board, I have a clear and compelling vision of where WG should be in the future - a vision that will both protect your investment in WG and also improve the quality of your life as a WG resident. Where does this vision come from? Well, as a very successful business project manager for Boeing for more than 24 years, I had to be out in front of any problems and challenges tossed my way on a daily basis. I had to be passionate in anticipating possible difficulties and, also, in formulating a course of action that could to be taken to solve tough problems quickly and efficiently. My ability to identify potential problems and anticipate successful solutions to those problems prepared me very well to serve as a visionary for the WG Board of Directors. I will bring that passion and experience to the WG Board both to protect WG residents’ important investments and to enhance the lives of people who live at WG. So what is my vision for WG?
Technology - My vision for the future of WG involves a significant upgrade to our computers, software, and networks to enhance our daily lives and overall quality of life. Technology serves as a collection of tools, systems, and processes designed to address business challenges, boost efficiency, and improve our living standards. Adopting advanced technology is akin to preparing a field for planting—much like plowing and disking the lot across from Alameda to ready the soil. For WG, this means implementing a robust fiber network to replace traditional door keys with a modern card entry system. Additionally, we could automate our work order system, allowing us to track the status of individual requests in real time. This change would free up staff time for other essential tasks and streamline our operations.
Facilities - My vision for WG includes centralizing the monitoring of equipment that supports WG community. Facilities involve swimming pools, golf course, fitness center, and meeting room.
Security -My vision for WG allows us to upgrade and expand keyless entry systems systems, automate and upgrade to surveillance tools. Security emcompasses security personnel, lighting, surveillance systems, and access control systems.
With my experience as Vice President of the WG Board, Chair of the Long Range and Innovations Committee, Chair of Employee Relations, and member of both the Auditing and Revenue Exploration Committees, I bring a wealth of expertise and a forward-looking vision to lead WG into the future. My goal is to enhance our quality of life and effectively manage the transition to new technologies, upgraded facilities, and improved security. I am committed to using my business experience to guide WG through these changes and ensure a positive and secure environment for all residents.
